I also have my 2 cents worth with regard to the Hong Chen's shoplifting thingo mungo lar.. We actually knew that since the 1st/2nd week of school lor.. Its like after afternn lessons, he asked all 3Ners to be in the class and he announced his shoplifting crime and told us to be mentally prepared cos he sorta 'disgraced' 3N and he apologised to us... No one was upset abt it, for some reason, its like kinda expected frm rich man's children or so... stealing for the thrill and all.. watever...
So it happened on the assembly 2 days ago... After the first 15 mins, Hon Chiew Weng invited him (and forgot his name so he had to take the slip of paper frm his pocket out) and Hong chen did his thang man.. He publicly announced abt his shoplifting thing and then Hon mentioned that this offence was going to get him to be expelled from the school cos he
tarnished our school reputation.. But the decision lies in the hands of our cohorts.. So people came streaming to the mic (mostly iSparkians) to
convince the crowd to let him off and all and to give him a second chance.. Jianyang even had some sort of verbal argument with Hon and allsorts in a politely manner that is...
Then Hon was like saying,
"If everyone takes the second chance for granted, I have 2000 students in the school, statiscally, does that mean I have to handle 6 cases of shoplifting everyday?" What f****** shitty example is that? Is he turning senile or being the old fogey inside him? He's like saying that everyone WILL steal just bcos of the offence Hong Chen did.. At carrefour... On XMAS... But honestly, Hong Chen, why would he steal from a megastore like Carreffour? You could steal frm some Econ Minimart and all and have lesser chance to get spotted and arrested.. Dude, i always thot u were smart!
But Hon was like being the bad guy and all.. And he seriously was sticking onto the 6 cases a day e.g to rebuke everyone's plead... But in the end, everyone pardoned hong chen thru the vote and yay! so he's still in our class! Basically, I think Hong Chen is a damn kewl guy lor, very sporty and kinda qiang in studies (for Chinese at least)... He shld be the mascot for iSpark saying that iSparkians are much braver than those mainstreamers, and that we r much kewler and smarter than any of em (or most of em)... And not using mascots like me to show the iSparkians are sissy, singing freaks, or using Ah Zek as our mascots to show the nerdiness of iSparkians.. Sad la...
And just when we thot that everything was over, it wasn't... Yesterday, during Onghy's class, Jeffrey Lim and Tan tiong beng came to our class and gave hong chen 2 canes on his butt/thigh wherever.. Hongchen's expression was like still neutral after the caning.. He said it dint really hurt except for the leg part, woah ji brave... =P.. Than onghy was like damn lost cos she had no idea abt his crime and just stood there dumbfounded during the caning lol...
Aiya, i originally wanted to talk abt band and the shitty act-cute chinese debate i was in during chinese yesterday, but heck, i'd rather go for lunch now... :D
