Firstly, congrats to no one, cos the last time I visited this page, no one was here yet... The furthest was Mong i think, he went to the 3rd clue.. Yippee!! Haha, even daniel and edward joined in.. Feel so honoured.. Khaiboon oso.. =P
Ok so, xmas was uneventfully over, cos i basically just went to my granny's hse for lunch and dinner, and stone there and listen to all my zabor aunties talk bullshit... oh ya, the only good thing was that my uncles gave me 20 bucks and my smallest aunt gave me another 20 bucks and my big aunt gave me lotsa goodies she bought frm her america trip and my eldest uncle's wife's present of a mechanical pencil and an earser with the incredibles pictures on it and a cute jack jack note book...
And at night, the relatives were playing mahjong and I was still stoning there until 9 at nite, where they moved to my hse to continue their mahjong game and I was like bored, so i played com till like 2, read books till like 3 and watch TV till like 4am then i went to sleep... What a boring christmas isnt it?
The next day, I woke up like at 1 in the noon and I was like doing the routine stuff, com playing, tv watching, parents chatting, u noe... And at about 4, i bathed and went to meet jianyi at city hall MRT cos we were going to watch our choir instructor Mr. Yong at the esplanade concourse at 6.30 n 8.00 respectively.. check out the pics at jeffrey's blog if u noe the addie...
So Jianyi acutally bought the gilded deck! kewlness aint it? Lol, for some reason, i dint even get jealous nor angry.. I actually felt quite happy in some sense cos its like i haf my own tarot set and jianyi has his own, so its like both of us are happy cos jianyi love his set and i am contented wif mine and i am happy cos i dint buy another set cos i already have one... geddit? nvm..
And we started at raffles city first, where we went to robinson's toys department, which is like always, having inferior toys and all.. but for some reason, jianyi is like weirdly obsessed with a knitting kit and a beading kit.. like he is damn interested in cross stitching and all.. haha, tellya sth u can't believe, hurwtiz cross-stitches too! :D haha.. but at least everyone noes that hurwitz is normal so its kinda weird a guy like him like to cross stitch.. hmm.. mayb its just one of his interesting hobbies i guess..
And seriously, those fast-knitting/cross stitching machines are a waste of money and it's total shit.. cos firstly, people cross stitch to show one's sincerity for the other party, that's why he/she will take time to cross stitch slowly yet with a lot of sincerity and patience... with this stupid kit, everything is like just putting strings on it and turn a few rounds and watever thingy the machine does and its done! goodness, and what's more, its like paying to get ur sincerity done.. that's like defeating the main purpose of cross stitching!!!! *claps for oscar-winning speech*
Ok, so after shopping at boring robinsons, we went to shop around MPH bookstore at raffles city and tried to find my dream book - singing for dummies.. and of cos, it was so pathetic that there was only one shelf for arts... so on our way out, we were like saying loudly, "MPH got very little books one, cannot find, let's go KINOKUNIYA!!".. then jianyi began waving his kino bag arnd... damn stupid but lame.. =P
Right after, we went to citylink mall to check out the Singtel h3llo shop for my father's to-be handphone: Motorola e398 i tink.. damn cool, the functions, zai until like xiao.. got mp3, video recording and all.. damn shiok.. my dream phone without a flip... lol. he says tt he's going to give me the phone after he used it for 2-3mths... watever.. i can only upgrade my phone nxt june.... sighz...
Then we went to Esplanade and we went to the outside area and we bought hotdog breads and otahs cos i was so hungry... den finally we went for the concert... haha, its quite nice.. the victoria JC chorale's christmas carolling...
The harmonies were great, their volume and pitch was tip top, despit the lousy acoustics... however, the looks of all the people there, including mr. yong aren't really sight appealing.. they just look weird... well at least 99% of the males were.. except the conductor for the first session cos he looked kinda normal... that's why he looked good in the midst of the other chorists... but no, jianyi was insisting that the conductor looked shuai and all, so we ended arguing whether the conductor was shuai or plain normal...
So after the first performance, jeffrey came frm weishi's bday party and we went to suntec's KFC for our dinner... then rush here and there and we made it on time for the 8.00 show.. this time, the conductor is a lady, quite tall, with a familiar face which jianyi and i both felt we saw her on tv before or sth... this time, the 'normal' conductor was singing behind mr. yong and all.. he really looks normal!! and he's like scratching his nose and face when they aren't singing - total lack of performance ettiquette!
Oh ya, and the person on the right of Mr. Yong is so expressionful that it really didn't match with his funny face.. seriously, i was like laffing when he sang his soft bass solo in the 1st concert.. check him out if u noe jeffrey's blog.. oh ya, and jianyi acutally felt that the funny guy looked like yufeng! that's seriously insulting to yufeng i tink.. poor dude man.. but nevertheless, we decided to name that funny dude 'yufeng-look-a-like'...
And yupz, mr. yong's solo was really damn qiang lor.. can hear him and all... he's like real impt in the choir cos he's the one in charge of the pitch pipe so the choir will be srewed without him.. lol, and after the first concert, we saw miss lim and her bf and all and we chatted for like one minute and we went off...
My apologies but the above events weren't really arranged in the chronological order but i hope you understand what i mean...
Then after the concert, I went to Suntec to meet up with my parents and we went to the fountain of wealth while i sms-chatted wif jy abt his penang trip, the food and all.. lol, he's a real fun guy to chat with no less.... Then, we shopped at carrefour and bought soya bean milk and beancurd for our supper...
Sigh, I hate my 2005 class and holidays will be over in 1 weeks time!!!
