Things are getting much much brighter for my school life. The results, the company, well, most of the things I guess.
Yay! Firstly, I have already 4 A1s for my end-of-year exams already. I just need to do well for english and pass up the PHP project for com. studies to get a near 1.00 MSG for end of year. It might be my only chance ever to get 1.00 or 1.1. I really want to do well this year... :P
Cos' yesterday, we got back our MRPs from Mrs. Laurang and for CPK, I had 31.6/40 + 7 bonus = 38.6/40!!! Coolness. And after calculation of CPK + 2nd submission and overall bonus, I already have 74.3/80 and I just need to attend the oral defence examination and get easily get A1!!!
And when we got our exemption list today. And once I saw my slip, I was shocked. Truly shocked and happy. Originally I anticipated maths, chinese and science. But Mr. Suresh told me that I couldnt be exempted from Science cos I had a 73 A2 for Term2. Blame those vulvas and uteruses. And for maths, Mr. leetk told me that he did not rmb seeing my name on the exemption list. So all my hopes were on Chinese. But the exemption slip wrote,
Lim Khee Xuan, we are pleased to inform you that you have been exempted from the following subject(s):
1. LOWER SECONDARY SCIENCE
2. HIGHER CHINESE
3. MATHEMATICS
I was like jumping up and down as I have the same subjects exempted as Yong Lin's and Zheng Hang's. I pwn'ed lots of people - Sua Yu who was exempted from English and Chinese, Yufeng, who was exempted from Chinese, Sheng Wei has science and Tai Boon have no exemptions. For this year, Jianyi got exemption for Science too! So happy for him. Quoted from him,
"I was overjoyed when I was exempted from Science until I saw your exemption slip and knew that you were also exempted."
So if everything goes well, I only need about 60% for the end-of-year to get my first A1 for secondary school life and my average standard is about 64-65%. Hope I can sustain that and get my first ever English A1. For com. studies, sigh, its unpredictable as it might be the subject that stopped me from pursuing my record MSG. Sigh... Fate. :S
But SLC!!!! I have to retype the script thingy and send it to Jianyi and others. I don't want to act! SLC is the worst thing on earth and my 'parent' for that day will be none other than Lee Teck Kong Mr.!!!
I love 'A moment like this' by Kelly Clarkson. She rocks! Sigh... Brandon n Nicole didnt win AMazing Race yesterday. Oh it was sad... :'( But at least the winners were Chip and Kim and not
COLIN AND CHRISTIE!!! Goddamnit, they really do suck. But all is over and now my attention will be on S'pore Idol and Survivor!!! Teenagers theseadays...
