Like always, SLC was a rather fei day, where all iSparkians and their parents have to come down to school on a Saturday to listen to something that they already knew long ago.
Therefore, my 'clever' parents didn't attend the conferencing and my surrogate parent changed from Mr. Leetk to Ms Foo. Yay! Ms. Foo is a more 'fun' person to tok to and boast about
MY achievements blah....
At 11.30, I was made to go to meet Ms. Choh with Tai Boon and Kun Won for the play and they rehearsed until 12.30. Then we carried books to the counter in front of the drama centre and stuff. I mean, I felt so damn extra. Firstly, I didnt act and secondly, I ain't even a councillor!! So what's the point of asking me to go to school at 11.30 and look at them act? Gosh...
So after some talks and video playing in the drama centre, which for some stupid reason again, YangWZ contributed the video of me presenting the chinese speech abt whether schools should encourage young entrepreneurs to set up stalls in the school compound bleargh~..
So it was sharing time. Yay. Hurwitz and kaijun presented to Ms Foo first, so MelWan and I sat behind them and toked about everything. I found out that MelWan is actually a very funny boy and very naughty one also. He told me about how innocent Mr. Leetk is, cos when MelWan finished the maths wksheet and did English stuff, Mr. Leetk asked him what he was doing and he promptly replied that he was doing English and showed him the maths wksheet he completed and Mr. lee just allowed him to continue doing his english stuff...
He also told me how people procrastinate during Mr. Ho's chinese lesson cos everyone was like staring at him and absorbing nothing and MelWan always does his own work and occassionally looks up and ask a few questions to act enthu and return back to his work. And Bernard tan, was playing gameboy at the back every chinese lessons w/o Mr. Ho catching him! 2N is a real scary class, that's why I like my class so much... >.<
So when it's MelWan's turn to present, he invited me to sit beside him and he presented very humourously and act-cutedly. Very fun to see him present cos when Ms Foo asked him questions, he would reply in a very unenthu but funny manner.
e.g.:
Ms Foo: Which special class are you intending to join next year?
Mel: Math and Science lor. Because my maths is very qiang and my science is quite good, even though it is dropping and so I very sad cos I never get exemption.
Ms Foo: What are you looking out for in your class?
Mel: No irritating people in my class. Sigh.. Ying Jie may go to maths and Science class you know? So sad... (Acts crying)
I know it may not sound funny by reading it, but I just can't stop laughing when he was presenting his 'portfolio' and stuff... It was so funny and nice to see him whining and saying how sad he was cos his maths exemption didn't make him superior cos Leetk was too kind in giving exemptions.
So it was my turn to present. Before I can talk about my Professional Resume. Jeffrey promptly came and sat beside Ms Foo and listened to my presentation and kept interrupting me saying, 'bu4 yao4 lian2' and other shit that got me so pissed off... I mean, what's wrong with presenting all my leadership stuff? He's just jealous that I have better results, better leadership and better everything than him that's all. And isn't he sensitive to know that it is impolite to interrupt other's presentation? I mean, MelWan didn't interrupt my presentation and I invited him tos it beside me for my pres as well. But Jeffrey? He came without asking and give additional useless comments and when I asked Ms. Foo if she could chase Jeffrey off, Jeffrey just said, "I want to stay here. Go on with your presentation." Goddamnit! He thinks he is so damn superior and can do what he wants! Please lor, dun feel zibei if you have nothing much to present, taiboon didnt even prepare a portfolio and he presented 3 times longer than you did, which you only put in your 5 pieces of work with commendable results in it and make yourself feel so happy. If you think that your 5 pieces of work shows that you are good, people like Zheng Hang, Sua Yu and Jianyi will make you feel more zibei by filling up a file full of good works and another file for the portfolio.. Jeffrey just screwed up my whole presentation and all my work and reflections put in portfolio became useless in his presence..
(P.S: If you are angered by the paragraph above, it's okay with me. The purpose of the blog is to show one's feelings and everything right? So I am just making my point. Sorry for the 'insensitivity' caused.)
Nevertheless, after SLC, I bought an intuition book cos I am always absorbed in intuition and premonition so I bought it at $3. Being a kind-hearted soul, I gave a $10 to the lady at the counter and just asked her to give me $5 change so I could have my meal and walked off. It felt good to know that I have helped some people, even though it is a mere donation of $2.
Then taiboon, kunwon, jianyi, jeffrey and I went to KAP for dinner and I tried out my intuition book with Jianyi being my psychologist and helping me to take down my immediate answers. Quite fun but maybe I was taking it too seriously.
In all, today is a Sunday and since my Jap exam is on next Thurs, this means that I have to study for Jap exam and so I say, 'Astalavista'!
