Finally Jap Exams are over. Thank you for the most than 12 people that wished me good luck - I seriously can't rmb all of ya but thanks! And SING SONG rocks big time! (more abt it later..)
Firstly, I just want to say Clarinda Choh Ms. is a very understanding teacher. Why? Cos she allowed the third lang pple to haf early dismissal and spend her double period for revision of third lang!!! So good eh?
Secondly, I want to inform everyone that my chinese officially suck! Cos' i had 53/80 for the mock test and that's like less than an A2? Together with summary and compo, my score is only 71.7 and that's not what I got my exemption for... Nevertheless, what I am angry is that Yufeng beat me by 1 mark! Wth! And Kah Wee also had 53/80! But on the other side, I beat ah zek by i mark and I tie with chin seng, the exemption king of class 2O. Yay!
Ok, so the third lang people sat on the bus to the centre, which Marcus sat beside me and we gossiped cos' we both had car sick after trying to revise more on the bus.. :D So we began the game of
"Who do you like more as a friend?" for our class by register no.s and go through the list and the last one will be the best friend in class. Marcus was stuck between Hurwitz and me but in the end, he chose me. Yay? Lol, he commented that he doesn't have any good friends ever, esp. in our pathetic class. : ( Sheng Wei on the end, ended up with Jie Fu and Jianyi ended up with Kun Won.
Then, recalling the smses between me and Jinyang yesterday night cos' i was bored from studying and needed someone to entertain me or sth, he asked me about the most shuai and 2nd cutest in class cos he is so sure that I am the cutest. Dotz.. So i replied that yufeng is the most shuai and either sua yu or marcus would be the cutest in 2M. Haha, and when I told Marcus that, he immediately acted attitude and he looked so funny! I was like trying not to giggle but in the end I burst out laughing and I asked him the same question. He had the same answer for the most shai part but couldn't find an answer for the cutest part. He was like pondering, "who
ELSE is cute in our class?" Should I feel honoured? No rite?
THIRD LANGUAGE EXAMINATION PAPER 2004 - JAPANESE LANGUAGE: Gosh.. How I hated that paper. It was so damn hard and I had to half guess the answer most of the time, esp. listening part. Predicted score + Oral = 62/100 -
b4. Sad rite? I mean, albeit all the good lucks from Khaiboon, kianhong, sua yu, ting wei, kuang li, jeffrey, chih jiang, sean, jianyi, marcus, malcolm, yufeng, I still disappointed them. Or at least I am disappointed by my predicted results. So after the test, I smsed a few lot of my predicament, the replies were quite encouraging - like
'have confidence! we'll always be behind you!' or
'haha. with your standards sure can get a1 la..' I sort of never feel so zibei anymore. Now Jap is over, focus on English.
Err.. Dinner at food court of J8 with Jeffrey. Yummy spicy udon + Tori karaage + Sushi @ $4.90! Yum! So we set off back to school and took the bus to Marine Parade Com. Centre and we sang our hearts out with jianyi's mp3 playr. Very fun! The place was quite nice and we saw Koh Chieng Mun a.k.a Dolly in Under One Roof. She seriously needs Extrim but we were like so eager and fanatic to get her autograph. J/king.
So the play Sing Song started. A fat Malay nyonya lady started off her amazing voice singing some song from Carpenters that rocks and a medley of other songs by 3 other performers and a Tic Tac Tones a capella choir came in and the whole harmony was so nice! We were entertained throughout the whole musical with all the nice songs and Gloria Estefan's 'Rhythm's gonna get you" was featured in it. The whole audience is brought to laughter with the presence of Kumar and his Indian jokes and snake charming feats. Totally amusing. Frankly, everything was quite nice except the as in the older man of the 4, the chinese guy cos he was mucn older but had an equally unique voice and thick tone that was real good. I was teary when he narrated the whole experience of losing his father and his last words were 'Don't cry.' It was very touching indeed. Basically, the performance is worth more than $6.80 and I really hope that everyone will take the opportunity to watch the singing and everything. It rocks and it ends on 3rd Oct. So watch it k?
