Friday - Worst day of the week!
Firstly today is friday the 13th. Secondly, I have a literature test on Merchant of Venice today as well. Lastly, my day started badly.
Why? Cos today in the morning, on our way to the car, my father and I just walked past a funeral without even realising. And by Chinese beliefs, it is considered bad luck to walk over funerals. So, with all the bad omens set for me, it was sure that my literature test will go wrong...
So the day started when me and Kun Won went for band, which Kun Won just 'recovered' from his acute indigestion yesterdae. But he was still pale and giddy so he didnt take instrument during flag raising... Then after jie san, he suddenly turned pale and white and he told mi that he was numb and have a headache. So I suggested for him to go back home and take the lit. test next week.
So he told Leetk and he went home before the test. The literature test was pretty expected la. I did qn 2b, wrote 3 pages with the question, "The
Merchant of Venice consists of complex characters that commands both our sympathy and judgement." Discuss the validity of this statement with reference to any of the below characters: (a)Portia (b)Shylock (c)Antonio. So of cos I did Shylock cos it was ez... I mean, most of our classmates did 2(b), except taiboon that did 2(c), yufeng, lerong and shengwei that did qn.1
Then we had PE, which i borrowed Kian Hong's Pe shirt n pants cos i forgot to bring mine and he didnt have his lesson cos he had his tests. So for the volleyball lesson, i wore a extremely big sized t-shirt that I think Jeffrey can oso fit in and pants baggy like mad... Then everyone laughed. But nvm, after that, we played volleyball and it was fun. We lost to ah zek's gp by one point as we have one member less, but who cares! 3 cheers for Kah Wee, Kai jun, Marcus and jeremy! Yay!
Recess and I can't finish my nasi bryani... Me veri bad... Wasteful... Tink of the pple in South Africa ar... Sorry...
Then we had double Maths, then we did revision for Monday's test... Then we checked our CPs... I maxed out liao! 20.5! Yay!
Then we had double chinese... We did gong han... Boring la... So today is boring...
Then got band, sigh... Mr. Lim toked to us alot abt band organisation... Sad lorh.... Then we found out tt Mr. Hon n the estate office took pics of band store room vandalised wif words like 'Clarinet Bonding Squad rulez' or wadeva, so may ban us from using the SALT centre next yr... Sigh, dunno wat to sae la...
After tt, I went home and chatted a lil while wif frenz n seniors lorh and now I am blogging...
Btw, I tink I am more interested in writing the guide then writing abt my boring life...depends la...
